FT CHEF LOWER WESTCHESTER, NY

Family of five (3 adults and 2 toddler age children) seeking a full time chef for their home on Long Island sound. (Mamaroneck)

START DATE: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Flexible if notice is required. 

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, weekends off

MEALS: Breakfast to be left in fridge for self-serve or ideally if chef wants to come in and prepare daily that would be preferred. Timing is approximately 745am for breakfast.

                 Lunch approx. noon-1pm

                 Dinner nightly at approximately 530- 6pm

CUISINE: All styles enjoyed, healthy, organic when possible and farm to table cuisine. No allergies. one adult does not eat fish.

ENTERTAINING: rare, possibly 1-2 couples for dinners, but mostly just holidays with family

TRAVEL: No travel required

COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary DOE, stipend for medical, if needed.

The ideal chef is somewhat creative and passionate about fresh, seasonal fare. Well organized and able to keep the pantry stocked and current. The chef should be sourcing the freshest ingredients. Most of the family are easy eaters with few exceptions for personal preference. Chef should be dependable, cheerful and generally happy in a family environment.
