Family of four (2 adults, 2 children 3, 4 yrs old, plus nanny) seeking a full time, live out chef for their home in Weston, FL. Family has 2 small dogs.
Another family member lives 5 doors down and chef may work a few days with main principal and a couple of days at the other home to complement the 5-day work week. Second family is 2 adults and 2 children (6 & 8 yrs old) and 2 larger family dogs.
SCHEDULE: typically, Monday through Friday, some flex may be required.
MEALS: Lunch around 12-1pm for 1-4 people.
Dinner around 5-6pm
CUISINE: Both households are Vegan for 2 principals and also enjoy Asian, Thai, Indian amongst classic style cuisines which complement their Vegan choices. The other adults and children are not Vegan. One Principal enjoys Swedish and more basic cuisine styles. Occasionally all will eat seafood.
One allergy to peanuts in the family therefore no nuts to be used to avoid any cross contamination.
ENTERTAINING: rare if at all. only occasional family gatherings.
TRAVEL: Family owns homes in Colorado and upstate NY. They typically travel to NY and CO properties in the summers (June through late August). Occasional travel at holiday time. All negotiable. Housing is provided at both locations.
COMPENSATION: Salary, payable as independent contractor, 2 weeks paid vacation and PTO.
