Seeking a private chef for a couple with homes in:
NYC (upper east side) , HAMPTONS LI, LITCHFIELD CT, and PALM BEACH, FL.
Home base is New York city with weekend trips to either the Hampton or CT homes and sporadic trips to Palm Beach, FL for approx. a week each trip (Jan, Feb, Mar).
SCHEDULE: chef is off either Sunday-Monday or Monday-Tuesday depending on principal’s schedule.
MEALS: in NYC usually dinner only, when at other homes, lunch and dinner.
OTHER; Staff of 4-5. Staff meals can be lunch and dinner and dinner only depending on what is required.
CUISINE: healthy versions of French and Italian are favorites and most other styles enjoyed.
Seafood is well liked, little to no red meat. Chef should be well versed in more formal service and baking skills including gluten and dairy free. Exact restrictions will be discussed on interview.
HOUSING: live out NYC, Housing is provided at other properties. Vehicles are provided at all locations.
COMPENSATION: Competitive salary offered and depends on experience, medical insurance including family coverage if needed. 401k with % match after one year. Paid Life insurance and 2 weeks paid vacation to start.
Ideal chef is polished and on the formal side, well rounded able to execute beautifully presented food for everyday and occasional entertaining. Applicants should have extensive private household experience with longevity and references.
