Lovely couple seeking a full time private chef for their home in Philadelphia area and summer home in cape cod.

SCHEDULE: 5 days per week with 2 days off. Flexibility is key and Schedule is usually provided in advance so chef can plan their week and even month with ample notice.

MEALS: prepared breakfast and lunch items for self-serve to be left in fridge. Served Dinner (2 courses) is usually required 4 days per week.

CUISINE: KOSHER, separate fridges, protocols etc. observed. Cuisine styles preferred are Asian, Light French, Mediterranean and others. Meals preferred are prepared with low fats and oils, and organic high quality, fresh ingredients with light to no sauces. Emphasis on lean meats, fish and vegetables.  

ENTERTAINING: Holidays may include family members and outside help can be provided if needed. Occasional dinner parties for up to 3 couples. Occasional business lunches or mid day meetings.

TRAVEL: A summer home on Nantucket may be utilized 1-4 weeks in summer. If the chef accompanies family, housing is provided for chef and significant other, if applicable.

COMPENSATION:

  • Salary DOE
  • Employer paid full medical and dental benefits for employee and family (if applicable).
  • Two weeks paid vacation plus 6 paid holidays.
